Greg came to our house on two separate occasions to sit down with us and custom design a deck to meet our needs. DWS removed an existing deck and replaced it with a larger custom designed trex deck and used wood from the old deck to build a lower level patio deck. Greg and his crew were excellent, he sat down with us to custom design a deck that would meet our needs now and in the future. He was patient and his attention to details were unsurpassed. DWS put a second story deck on the back of my town home in Brambleton, Va. They did an outstanding job and Stayed in touch every step of the way. Required partial payment to start, mid way in progress and when the job was complete to my satisfaction. Warranted on all his work, has fixed minor issues on my deck when called within a week. Started and finished on time. Greg is very proud of his companies work and is eager to show you his work on other houses in the neighborhood. Not the cheapest deck guy and not the most expensive but he is straight forward with you so there are no surprises. I would use him again on any other deck project and would recommend him to family members. We get numerous compliments on our deck from the neighborhood.

DWS gave us a consultation to build a deck on the back of our house. The consultation was informative and not overly long. The materials were no maintenance and the price was reasonable. The crew worked diligently and the workmanship was excellent and it was completed in just under two weeks.

We were initially concerned that their quality would supersede our budget, but we were wrong. We had 4 estimates and DWS was the most competitively priced of all. Greg took our rough design and created exactly what we wanted. Great communicated with us frequently and kept us well informed of the progress and schedule, making sure we were happy with results and progress. DWS designer, engineer, field manager and deck building crew work seamlessly as one team. By far the most pleasant experience we have had to date with any professional home building service.
